Almaz Mirgazov: Hard to call the match with Germany a game
National team Russia in quarter-final match of the World championship defeated national team Germany. Almaz Mirgazov, the forward, confessed that that match was more like training.
"Naturally, hard to call this a game but, nevertheless, this was a game. As a matter of fact, it may be pleasant for supporters: for them goals is always an event. For us, it is more like training. Still we had to spend some energy but main and important games are ahead", - told Almaz Mirgazov.
Unlike national team Sweden, Russian team refrained from slowing down but carried on offensively. According to the forward, nobody was going to give in to less experienced opponent.
"We refrained from giving anyone in since we are national team Russia. This is the World championship and if an opponent is weak why do we have to give in to him", - noted Almaz Mirgazov.
However, coaches of national team Russia still gave in slightly when eight players were playing in the second half. According to the forward, most likely, in such a manner mentors decided to help the opponent slightly.
In the semi-final national team Russia will play with team Finland. Coaching staff will give a set-up for the match during the game day.
