Hauke Sander: Americans won on merit

The national team German which lost in the first match of the World championship to national team USA intends to keep head up. According to Hauke Sander, German bandy players will try to excel in the following games.

"There were minor mistakes in defense. We didn't expect such results. Americans have a really good team, a well physically prepared one. Americans won on merit but a big gap in the score says nothing about our play – it just happened", – told Hauke Sander.

The captain of the national team confessed that the team went out on big ice for the second time at full strength therefore it was lacking cohesion. Despite the devastating loss, team Germany is not going to despair.

"We look forward, this was only the first game. We'll do our best, we'll continue playing", – noted Hauke Sander.
