The national team of Canada won’t come to Khabarovsk again.

The organizing committee of the world championship in Khabarovsk has received the official letter from Bo Newman, the secretary general of the international bandy federation about the Canadian national team absence from the world championship. The national team of Hungary will take its place in the Group A tournament.

The first match of the world championship the national team of Hungary plays on the 29th of January. Their competitor is the national team of Kazakhstan.

It is the second time the national team of Canada has not come to the tournament. On the world championship 2015 in Khabarovsk also the Canadians were replaced by the national team of Latvia. That time the financial matter was the main reason of the non-participation.
