Vasily Granovskiy: Spectators' support gave us strength

The final match of the World championship in Khabarovsk proved to be difficult and intense. National team Russia had a tough time especially in the second half. Vasily Granovskiy, the defender, confessed that support from tribunes helped to win.

"National team Sweden is a very serious team. It is difficult to keep high speed therefore at times steps happen. After the time-out we enhanced the defense and were already playing understanding that we had no right to mistake. All guys stood, all well done. Thanks to supporters, they were supporting us greatly, making us move forward, giving us strength", - told Vasily Granovskiy.

The defender confessed that in each World championship match national team Russia had distinct tactical know-hows, even during group stage game with Swedes the team was practicing its patterns. After each match, coaching staff and players were discussing video records of games analyzing own activity.

A trainee of Khabarovsk bandy school noted that Far East capital it the best city for the World championship, the place which brings luck.

"The level which is established by Khabarovsk has never been repeated so far. When in 2015 championship was held for the first time, it was fantastic and now the level even higher. The opening was wonderful; supporters grew in number compared to previous world championship. I think that Khabarovsk is considered good for bandy during world championships with full rights", - noted Vasily Granovskiy.
